For this project, we were assigned to make a viscous object. So I just put a sphere into the scene and then I selected the object and put an emitter on it that just emits normal FLIP fluids. Once that object was set up with the FLIP fluid, I think hit make viscous. Once I hit that button, I select the object I want viscous and now it makes a thick like substance. I then just messed with all the settings to help make it look how I got it.

Maya Fluids
Above I have just different photos of my flame, because my video wouldn't upload for some reason. For this project, we were assignment to create a simulation using maya fluids. Maya fluids broke down into very simple steps. It's mostly just settings and adjusting. For my project I just made a simple flame, and imported a simple torch model form the internet. Then I put the flame on the top of the torch model. This project was pretty fun because I've been wanting to work with Maya fluids, and I finally got that chance.
